Smoothies
So sorry I wasn't able to update my blog these past two weeks; it's been kind of busy.
Well, anyhow today I wanted to talk to you about smoothies!! Yum! Smoothies are a delicious treat that you can personalize any way you want to. You can have them anytime and they are really versatile. Here are some of my favorite smoothie recipes:
Apple cinnamon smoothie:
1/2 cup chopped apples
5 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons soymilk
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons maple syrup
Blend and serve.
Avocado smoothie:
1 Avocado, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons sugar
7 tablespoons milk (might need more, it depends on the ripeness of the avocado)
1/4 cup vanilla yogurt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Blend and serve.
Lemon blueberry smoothie:
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/4 cup blueberries (either fresh or frozen and thawed)
1/4 cup yogurt
5 tablespoons milk
2 tablespoons sugar
Blend and serve.
